Curious about a day in the life of a student at Art Academy of Cincinnati? Come and experience it yourself! AAC is hosting Shadow Days for high school juniors and seniors from March 24 – April 18, 2025. You will attend studio and liberal arts classes working directly with AAC Faculty and students, experience critiques with AAC classmates, and experience where contemporary artists engage, make, and create!
Applicants who need to submit their portfolio for review also have the opportunity for a personalized review of their work with our admissions team.
Schedule:
8:00 am – Arrival and Campus Way-finding with Admissions
8:30 am – 11:20 am – Studio Coursework
11:30 am – 12:20 pm – Common Hour Lunch – you may pack a lunch or bring money for lunch at our Cafe.
12:30 pm – 1:50 pm – Liberal Arts Coursework
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm – Q&A / Review with Admissions – Each student may bring up to two guests for Q&A and counseling on next steps in the Admissions process.
Participants will need to attend the entire day.
Items to bring: sketchbook, pencils/pens for sketching, and a packed lunch or money for lunch at our cafe.
